In our production facility in Kirchbichl, a cutting-edge material flow concept means that computer-controlled, unmanned forklift trucks, abbreviated FTF, automatically collect all the components of a recipe in large or small batch containers. This is made possible by a screw-driven dosing system that ensures the highest possible recipe accuracy. And these FTFs have been exchanged for even more modern variants.
The old FTFs had a two scale system, their action area had to be fenced and they were stopped as soon as someone entered this area. Their navigation was by magnets in the ground, which made them somewhat error-prone.
As of now, we have state-of-the-art FTFs.
We are pleased to have further optimised our production with the investment in the new FTFs.
